I first wanted to thank everyone for the encouragement you've sent through out the 6 weeks of 'knowing' each other. I was a little apprehensive about this blogging stuff but am starting to like it. I enjoy encouraging everyone and also knowing I'm not the only one out there going thru all this stuff.
As some of you may know, this month I am collecting money for the Canadian Cancer Society and can't believe I have almost $700 in pledges. Between Tom (co-worker) and I we have collected just shy of $1000. Our goal is to hit $2000 before Oct 30th and it looks like we might just make it. The other part of our challenge is the running race in the parking lot at work....should be an interesting run. We would really like to make it fun by dressing up in sumo wrestler outfits so I am on the hunt to find these. Should make for a fun YouTube video.
Anyways, enough blogging for tonight. I must get out and train so I can beat Tom across the finish line.
